Hello Bigger Future.
Exploring change, creativity, leadership, at the human scale.
Our Conversation
There comes a time in every life – and every organization – when the map runs out before the journey has ended. That's territory I've spent much of my life exploring. For more than four decades, I helped organizations navigate change, clarify purpose, and find their way through periods of invention and transformation. Along the way, I became increasingly interested in the questions beneath the work: What gives us direction? How do we remain creative? What does it mean to lead well? And what happens when the old ways of thinking no longer serve us?
I came to realize that these questions extend far beyond organizations. They're questions about being human. How do we continue growing? How do we reinvent ourselves? How do we use our gifts? How do we make choices that reflect what matters most? Those questions now inform everything I write, speak about, and create. The settings may change, but the inquiry remains remarkably consistent.
What I Care About
I'm fascinated by creativity, leadership, entrepreneurship, identity, reinvention, and the pursuit of a meaningful life. These aren't separate interests. They're different windows onto the same larger questions: who we are, what matters to us, and why we do what we do. These questions deserve more attention in a world that often rewards speed over wisdom, performance over substance, and noise over reflection. I'm not interested in prescribing how people should live or work. I'm interested in exploring the questions, sharing what I've learned, and remaining open to what I haven't figured out yet.
How I Contribute
I bring decades of experience building a business, working alongside leaders, making things, and navigating change—along with a continuing curiosity about what makes people and organizations tick. Sometimes that perspective takes shape in an essay. Sometimes in a talk, a song, or a conversation around a campfire. Sometimes it means sitting down with a founder or leadership team to think through a difficult question. I don't have a map for every situation. What I can offer is experience, perspective, creative thinking, and a willingness to explore what's possible. The medium changes. The conversation doesn't.
